Music, Babies,and whatever else comes to mind.  That is the theme of the day.

In no particular order...

Babies:
Babies, babies, babies!  They are everywhere all of a sudden, so I'm glad I like them.  ha ha!  My awesome friend Meghann (check out her blog Woo and Me) just had a baby last month.  My friend Kate is due in April.  And the email just went out yesterday that my cousins Brian and Scharlie are going to have a boy in July (you can check out their blog, too...Beyond the Shire...they are currently living in Africa). Bring on the babies!

 Here is me with Cousin Brian...I'm not sure when this was...maybe 2003-ish?  He was passing through Nashville and stopped by my store to visit.  :)

And here we are much earlier than that...  :)

Music:

A friend of mine has recently been getting a lot of television airtime.  I met Tony Lucca about ten years ago, which is very hard to believe that it's been that long...but it has.  I can remember watching him on the Mickey Mouse Club when I was in high school, although I have never told him that.  Every show I go to, I hear at least a handful of people tell him that same thing.  So why should I?  ha ha.  And now that we've known each other for so long, why bother?  ha ha.  Anyway...he is truly a unique talent, and I have known that for quite some time.  Now it's time for the world to know.  He was recently seen auditioning for NBC's "The Voice", immediately following the Super Bowl a couple of weeks ago.  All four judges turned their chair around, wanting him for their own team.  Tony wound up picking Team Adam, which I think is a good fit for him.  Since that night, he has made an appearance on the "Today Show" as well as being in a segment on the Weather Channel.  All this, and the live parts of The Voice haven't even begun.  So I encourage everyone and anyone to tune in to NBC on Monday nights and watch The Voice!  I'm not sure when the live shows will begin...but I expect you to keep tabs!  :)

With Tony in Birmingham...I think this was 2006...  Preston went with me that night, and I believe this is his favorite time to see Tony...because he was allowed to partake of the free beer in the dressing room.  HA HA!

I also love this picture very much.  I think this might have been 2006 or 2007.  This was Nashville, with (L-R), Jason Carson, Brian White, Tony and myself.

Dakota:

Can I just say how much I absolutely adore my nephew?  Have I said that before? Never, right?  ha ha.  Anyway...this past week I worked nights, since we were having our bi-annual telethon at the station.  So Monday morning, I was awakened to a high pitched squealing voice in the hallway, "Mannaaaahhhhh!!!!"... then little footsteps running towards my bedroom door...then silence.  I peeked over the edge of the bed and there he was, and he promptly went into a giggle-fit.  It. Was. Awesome.  :)
