Future Farmer?

Will he be a farmer?  A tractor mechanic?  Professional lawn mower?  Tractor salesman?  Head of the Agriculture Department at a university?  Who knows.  But for right now, he is just a little boy who absolutely loves and adores tractors of all sizes, shapes and colors.

Dakota and I spent a good amount of time looking at tractors at the DuQuoin State Fair this past weekend.  He walked around from tractor to tractor, in complete little boy heaven.  He would climb up on the little ones.  Point and say "Up" for the medium-sized ones.  Stop dead in his tracks and yell, "Whoa!" or "Wow!" for the really big ones.  I think I had just as much fun as he did, and it quickly became Aunt Manda heaven, too.  :)

One of his favorite vehicles wasn't even a tractor.  It was this thing.  He'd climb behind the wheel and pat the seat beside him, indicating I was supposed to sit by him.  He'd "drive" for a while, then push me out of the seat.  He'd get on the passenger side and pat the driver's side of the seat.  I'd climb in and "drive" for a while.  Then he'd push me out again.  He'd climb in the back seat and pat the seat beside him....I'd get in and we'd have a ghost driver for a little bit.  This went on forever.  :)

Climbing on and off of tractors works up a boy's appetite (an aunt's, too!).  So the natural next step was to get corndogs and lemonade.  I mean, is there even anything else at the fair??  :)

And then here's a fun one that I threw together...  I see many more of these in my future...  :)
